WSP Zinc Processing Facility

Waelz Sustainable Products (WSP) has technical expertise designing comprehensive and sustainable solutions and engineering projects that will help societies grow for lifetimes to come. WSP had to increase production capacity by expanding its operations. To meet this goal, a $75 million, two-phase kiln construction project would be built to eventually produce 100,000 tons of zinc oxide and steel mill by-products to increase the company’s global materials production.

MNA provided engineering design services for the project including mechanical, fire protection, HVAC and electrical to complete the construction document delivery phase within WSP’s timeframe.

MNA’s services contributed to the on-time completion of the facility. The engineered solutions created a facility for WSP that is functional and efficient while producing products as planned according to the company’s goals and objectives for the project.
