Westfield Washington Schools – Carey Ridge Elementary

The mission of Westfield Washington Schools is to ensure high levels of learning and growth for all students. To support this mission, the elementary school needed to expand their learning environment. The proposed 130,000 SF addition would enable the school to serve the growing community.

The large-scale project required extensive planning and execution. To accommodate its size, a supplemental boiler was planned to provide heating for the additional classrooms. The new controlled entryway would have security features that included an electric, single storefront door with intercoms, and an added kiosk near the door to efficiently scan identification credentials upon entry.

MNA provided all the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for the new addition. The project was successfully completed and met the expectations of the school district.
