Roche Diagnostics develops and produces medical devices that provide information to help healthcare professionals find the right treatment for patients and deliver the best patient care to improve, prolong and save lives. The scope of the project included the demolition of an existing building to allow for the construction of a new facility.
The new building was constructed within the existing campus, directly adjacent to three other buildings. The building included three cGMP areas with strict temperature and humidity requirements. The newly designed space would need to have a strong focus on energy efficiency.
MNA provided the mechanical, electrical and plumbing design for this building which included consolidating several of the existing laboratories on the existing campus into this facility. The new laboratory and administration building was completed on time and met Roche representatives’ expectations.
