The Cranbrook Art Museum presents and collects the art, architecture, craft, and the design of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries with a special focus on the achievements of artists from Cranbrook Academy of Art and Detroit. The museum needed project management services to facilitate the on-site installation of the Sonya Clark exhibition and prepare documentation to tour at future venues.
The Museum’s Registrar had recently resigned, which caused a backlog of projects. They required someone with specific expertise and skill sets to step into the role to quickly and effectively complete the exhibit.
The MNA team was able to provide organization for the exhibit checklist, supervise the receipt of shipments from a virtual courier, and facilitate the installation of the exhibit with the Cranbrook team. MNA also documented the condition of unpacked artworks and created documentation for the tour.
