Pharmaceutical Client – Laboratory Exhaust Manifold

A pharmaceutical client harnesses the power of biotechnology, chemistry and genetic medicine while urgently advancing science to solve some of the world’s most significant health challenges. At the laboratory, Client representatives wanted to remove the multiple separate exhaust fans that each served individual fume hoods and replace them with a multiple manifolded exhaust system.

The work activities in the laboratory could not be shut down or interrupted and the project implementation needed to be precise and carefully managed. The phasing of four full exhaust fan replacements had to be performed in multiple phases to allow for ongoing laboratory work in the facility.

MNA provided architectural design services as well as mechanical and electrical engineering services. The implementation plan was successfully completed, and the manifolded exhaust system was installed with precision. Client representatives were highly satisfied with the project’s results.
