Cummins Inc. RMEP Facility Gasoline Distribution System

Cummins Inc. is an American, multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and distributes engines, filtration, and power generation products. Cummins’ advanced functional test program needed to add gasoline engine testing to the end-of-line test cells to ensure quality, calibration and performance verification.

Since there was no existing gasoline storage or distribution at the site to support these testing activities, MNA was hired to provide engineering services, SIS panel design and commissioning to safely and strategically design the project. There were several challenges associated with the scope of work that included an aggressive construction schedule.

MNA collaborated with Cummins Inc.’s test cell supplier, safety experts, and preferred contractors to deliver a system that met the technical requirements of the initial program and protected for future production volume with minimal additional capital investment. The controls team worked tirelessly to validate and commission the SIS panel on schedule.
